| Massage FAQs:
- Q. How do I know if the therapist is qualified?
- A: In the state of Florida, massage is regulated by the Department of Health, Board of Massage Therapy. If the therapist has completed the appropriate training and passed the state exams they will display a license number with all advertisements.
- Q. Does insurance pay for massage?
- A: Many insurance companies are beginning to pay for massage, with the exception of HMOs. Massage therapy that is needed as a result of an auto accident or other personal injury, is almost always covered by insurance.
- Q: What is the cost if I pay cash?
- A: Rates vary according to style and duration of treatment. Please call Joline 426-2672 for information on our massage therapy session prices.
- Q: I am very modest: do I have to disrobe for treatment?
- A: That is entirely up to the client. Sheets and towels are always used to provide as much privacy as desired. The client's comfort is our chief concern. Some techniques, such as Shiatsu, are performed fully clothed.
